So, Aeda is 5 weeks old as of today.
New things Aeda is doing...
- Smiling for the last week and and a half to two weeks.
- Trying to control making sounds (besides crying).
- Learning how to take a pacifier
- Holding her head up on her own.
- Looking around at everything.
I am very happy that breastfeeding is going so well. She is definitely getting enough to eat. It would be nice if she would take a pacifier at night so Mommy can get some sleep. She wants to be attached to Mommy all of the time, which is okay...but I do need to sleep at some point.
We had her one month check up today. Everything looks good.
Stats:
- Weight: 10 lbs. 4 oz.
- Height: 23"
- Head Circumference: 15.25"
She did break out in a rash over the last few days. The doc says he doesn't think it's a virus. He said it's Seborrheic Dermatitis. Nothing to worry about.
Aeris is loving the Big Sister role. She absolutely loves her baby sister and her baby sister loves her so much too! Aeris gives Aeda lots and lots of kisses.
What a wonderful family we have here!!

We watched Winnie the Pooh today. We did not watch it at home, we went to the movie theatre! I got to give the guy my own movie ticket and he gave me part of it back! I felt like such a big girl! After we gave him our tickets we went into the theatre and found a seat for each of us. Then Daddy stayed there while Mommy and I had a potty break and got some popcorn! It was a fun time. I like movies!

I liked my piano lesson that my Mommy took me to on Friday, March 18th. I learned the number of my fingers. My thumb is number 1, my pointer is number 2, my long finger is number 3, my ring finger is number 4 and my pinkie is number 5! I need to know the number of my fingers so that I can know which finger to use to press each key when I learn how to play songs. I learned to sit tall at the piano and to put my knees right under the keys and my arms out to the edge of the board so that when I bend my arms, my fingers rest on the keys. I learned that f means forte which is loud. To play loud, you have to press hard on the keys. p means to play soft by pressing gently on the keys.
Mommy and Daddy got me some books that will help me learn how to play the piano at home. So, I'll be taking lessons from Mommy and Daddy at home! Well, at least for a couple of years.
