Hi! It's me again. I keep telling myself I'll stay current on my postings, but I always forget. I guess it's because Mommy and I are so busy. That will slow down now though. Well, probably after Thanksgiving. So much has happened since my last posting, I'll try to remember everything. I love keeping you all up to date.
Jake and Hoss went home. I really like them and miss them. I hope they get to come over and play again sometime soon. I was really impressed with them. Especially around Hobbes. It took a while before Mommy and Daddy would let her out around them, since they're such big dogs, but when they did...everything was fine!! Jake and Hoss are so loving!
We're sneaky! On October 18th my Aunt Bobbie and Uncle Jim came into town thinking we were having a family reunion, but instead Grandma Terri, Grandpa Vince and Mommy threw them a surprise party. You see, Aunt Bobbie and Uncle Jim got married August 31st (I think that's the date), they had a destination wedding and honeymoon all in one, so we thought we'd throw them a surprise party to celebrate. It went over very well. They were so surprised and had no idea what was going on. Hee hee, it was so fun!
The following Friday, October 24th, Eureka had a halloween party at the community center. Boy was that fun! We didn't have my butterfly costume yet, so Mommy put together a quick costume for me. She dressed my in white pants and shirt, put bunny ears on my, made a bunny tail out of cotton balls and safety pins, then made my nose pink with lipstick and finally drew wiskers on my face with an eyeliner pencil. I was so cute, if I do say so myself. When we got here, I made a pumpkin button to wear on my shirt. then we played a couple of games. I was pretty good at putting the bean bags in the ghosts mouth, but I couldn't quite reach the pumpkin to pin the nose on it. They had caramel apples to eat and cookies to decorate and eat. I even won a door prize. It was a bag with candy and toys in it. We had so much fun. I can't wait to go to the Christmas party! I'll get to see Santa!
On Halloween I got to go around to doors, ring the door bells and ask for candy. I didn't quite understand why people kept trying to put things in my butterfly purse, but I let them. I was a little shy here and there, but when Mommy told me they had something to put in my purse, I was usually okay. We walked around the block. Mommy said it was good exercise. I walked most of the way. I would have walked more, but Mommy thought my legs were probably getting tired, so she carried me a bit, then let me walk a bit and then carried me again. That was nice of her. Daddy was great too. He took lots of pictures for you to see!
I promise I will post more often. It won't be another month until I give an update. Maybe a week, but not a month.
