I got my first bump on my head! It's bruised too. Don't worry, I'm okay. I just fell down the stairs to the garage and landed head first on the concrete floor. I cried and cried. I was so upset, but I'm okay. It looks worse than it is.
I got a new throne about a month ago, but it's been sitting in the living room waiting until I fit in it. Now, I officially weigh enough to sit in it! Yay! This one is so much fun! I can see Mommy while she's driving! I don't have to face the back window anymore! Hopefully the sun won't get in my eyes as much. We'll see. Mommy and Daddy say this throne is HUGE! I heard Mommy say that it almost takes up half of her back seat, literally. But I'll be able to use this one all the way up to 80 lbs! By that time I should be old enough and tall enough to use a regular seat belt. But that won't be for many, many years. Of course Mommy took lots of pictures of me strapped in for the first time. Maybe my Daddy will post one or two for you to see. I'm so cute, aren't I?
It all began at 5:33 in the p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2008. Mommy was sick so she didn't go to work and it's a good thing she didn't, because if she did, she would have missed my first steps! At first it was just 3 small steps, but now I take all kinds!! I'm going further and further on my own. I had no idea I could walk without holding onto something. This is soooo neat. I laugh and giggle everytime I walk now. Pretty soon it won't be as facinating, but I'm enjoying it while it is. Mommy and Daddy took some video of me trying. This is when my legs were tired after walking for a while, so we'll have to post another video of me walking so you can see that!
Yesterday my Grandma Georgia came over and spent time with me while Mommy and Daddy went to a meeting about, what did they call it?, ummm delegates. Anyway, when Mommy and Daddy came home I had fallen asleep sitting in Grandma's lap. Daddy took me upstairs so I could get a good rest. Then! When I woke up...THERE WAS A ZEBRA IN THE LIVING ROOM! Oh my! I was trying to figure out how he had gotten there, but Mommy and Daddy said they got him for me. I think I'm pretty special because I got a zebra and I'm just 15 months old. Most little girls want ponies and may never get one...but not me, I got a zebra. He bounces and bounces and bounces. He also plays music and turns around in circles. He's so much fun. Mommy and Daddy video taped me when I first met him. It was just after my nap, so I'm a bit tired in the video. Now, I wonder what I should name him....
