Hi there! I've missed updating you all. Again, we have been very
busy. I'm hoping that will come to a end in January. So...what have I
been up too?...hmm, let's see...
Halloween was wonderful! I was a lady bug. I'm sure you saw, but I
just had to tell you. I had so much fun. By the end of the night I
was going up to the doors by myself. Well, my mommy was a few steps
away...but I didn't have to hold her hand like I did in the beginning.
I even started to say "Trick or Treat!" The city even had a Halloween
party the week before. That was great also. There was so much to do,
but my favorite part was dancing. Peyton and Brock went with us and we
ran around all night! I slept in soooo late the next morning. Too bad
my mommy couldn't take advantage of that since she had to get up for
school the next day.
My
friend, Jack, turned 3! I went to his birthday party and had an
absolute blast! He had it at the train place. They make little wooden
trains and tracks, kind of like Thomas. The good news is that it is a
family owned business located right in Valley Park and all of their
trains and tracks that they make are all make within the United
States! Fabulous. We love supporting the local economy, especially
when it is a small family owned one. Here is the link if you want to know more

the ones with the trains. hee hee. Oh, and the ones where I'm wearing
the pink and gray striped shirt. It was such a beautiful day for
pictures. I'm going to check with Jack's mommy to see if I can post
pictures of him and me together on here. They're so cute! Mommy took
them of us holding hands walking down the train track outside his
party.
I'm excited about my birthday party that is coming up soon. It's going to be a carnival theme with lots of games, prizes, and carnival food! I'll tell Daddy to take lots of pictures! I'm so excited! Mommy and I bought these plastic popcorn containers the other day and every time I see them I say they are for my party! Yay! I can't wait!

I haven't updated my blog in a long time and have a lot of catching up to do! Everyone has been so busy lately, but I have been having a lot of fun and learning a lot of new things. Both Mommy and Me are going to school, I think my school is more fun than Mommy's! *giggle*
I told Daddy to try to get some updated pictures online, hopefully he will be able to soon. Mommy and Daddy tell me I'm getting so tall, but I haven't noticed, I can just jump much higher now is all!!
Soon I will try to update everyone with more blog posts so I can tell you all the exciting things I am doing and learning. But for now I just want to tell you that I think Ska and Punk are two of my favorite types of music, it is so fun to dance to! This morning when I was dancing to Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, I decided to climb up onto the couch and then jump off as part of my dancing ... Daddy told me "No Stage Diving!!!" and I got in trouble for jumping off the couch, but I saw Daddy laughing although he was trying not to! |

Well, I'm in a big girl bed now. Daddy took the front of my jail cell off, now I can get out any time I want. At least now my chances of getting hurt while doing so are pretty slim. I didn't nap again today. I'm afraid my Mommy is going to take the few toys that I do have in my room away. She said she's going to give me one more chance tomorrow, but if I'm playing instead of napping then she's going to come in and take my toys. She told me that I should sleep so that I can wake up with more energy and I won't get as cranky around dinner time as I have been lately. But she also told me that even if I don't sleep that it is still quiet time and I need to stay on my bed. It's okay to read my books and listen to some quient music, but that is all. We'll see how it goes tomorrow.
Mommy and I thought we would tell you a few things about me, just because we were thinking about how special I am. Here we go...
- I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE animals! Cats, Dogs, Cows, Hippopotamus' it doesn't matter, I love them all.
- I love hugs. Getting them or giving them is fine with me.
- I don't have a mean bone in my body and it really upsets me when someone isn't nice.
- Some of my facial expressions are really funny! I have this one look that I've been giving lately...Mommy calls it "Crazy Eyes". She's hoping to get a picture of it, but I haven't let her yet.
- I love to be sung to. Mommy has been singing to me since I was in her tummy. There are a few special songs that are my absolute favorites.
- I love to dance. If I hear music I will start bopping my head or lightly bouncing up and down. I can't wait until I can take dance lessons. Mommy says there are so many different types that I can try...like...tap, ballet, irish step, hip hop and a bunch more. I wonder which one I will like the best.
- When my Daddy comes home from work each day...I don't want to have anything to do with Mommy anymore. I want Daddy to hug me and hold me, at least until dinner is ready. That is really hard because I'm not allowed in the kitchen when the stove is on.
I think that's about all for now. I'm sure there will be more at some point.

Mommy and Daddy better figure something out soon...I started climbing out of my crib on Friday, 07/03/09. I am such a pro at it now. Mommy thought I was using the chair next to my bed to get down, so she moved it. She soon found out that I can still get out! It's not so bad at night because I'm ready for bed...but I don't like to take naps during the day now. Mommy isn't sure what's going on, but she says that I am crabby when I don't take a nap, so we need to work something out. I have a feeling she may be leaning toward time out if I don't stay in bed because she knows that I don't like time out. We'll keep you updated.
