Oops, I almost forgot to tell you...on Monday, 02/22/10, I got to go to Mommy's school and help her study. She got this big black box and when she opened it up there was a bunch of weird looking things that she called bones. I found the most interesting thing to be the skull (I think that's what Mommy called it). She thought I would be kind of scared of it, but I wasn't! I picked it up, put it in front of my face...kind of like a mask...and started roaring. Hee hee! I'm funny! I had fun and I got to learn about the body. Mommy was reviewing her stuff and teaching me at the same time. Mommy was surprised that I was actually interested and paid attention. I repeated each part she taught me. I can't wait to do it again!

Well, yesterday was my first day riding the school bus! I'm going to ride it on Thursdays, but that may increase to Tuesdays & Wednesdays too. Mommy says we'll see. I was so excited and kept looking out the window on the front door! Mommy was excited for me, but also a little nervous. She took lots of pictures. I even saw her at my school when I got there. She had to take pictures of me getting off the bus there. It's a long drive...in the morning the bus picks me up at 7:45 and we don't get to school until 8:20...that's 35 minutes! Then, in the afternoon, we leave school at 11:30 and don't get home until 12:10! That's 40 minutes! Yesterday I didn't get home until 12:25, so that was an even longer drive. When I got home Mommy asked me if I liked it when she drove me to school or if I like riding the school bus. I didn't want to hurt Mommy's feelings, but I had to be honest...so I told her the SCHOOL BUS! She smiled and gave me a big hug, so I guess I didn't hurt her feelings. She kept saying something about me growing up. I don't know what that mean, I just know that, "Lily is small and I'm big."..."Lily is short and I'm tall."
Mommy said she likes the fact that there is an assistant on the bus with the bus driver. So, the assistant buckles me in my car seat (Yes! They have car seats!) and she is also there to watch over us and make sure we're okay. There are only 5 kids that ride me bus, so it's very small...but that's just the way I like it! I can't wait until next Thursday so I can ride it again!

The above is Aeris' conversation that she is currently having with a workbook. Isn't that just so cute? Or...should we be concerned?  She is so wonderful that words cannot even describe it! We are so proud of her and our pride in her increases every day!!!

I make my mommy and daddy smile! They tell me that they really like it when I give hugs and kisses all of the time. Mommy gets so happy when she picks me up from school and I wrap my arms around her neck and give her a big kiss! She tells me it makes her day! My daddy loves it when I give him big hugs and kisses when he gets home from work. He even likes it when I tell him what I did at school each day! I know he likes it because he asks me every day! That makes me feel special.
