Okay, I'm not doing so well keeping up on my blog. It's already the end of December so I'm going to do one long post for the whole month. I hope I don't forget anything.
December 5th: I got to see Santa! It was so exciting! Well, at least Mommy thought so. I was pretty much oblivious to him until it was our turn and I got right up to him. Mommy says she was a little nervous that the reaction from the little girl in front of us was going to scare me, so Mommy thought quick and stepped in front of me. That way I couldn't see what was going on...and there was a lot of other stuff to look at too. There were decorations and presents everywhere! When the little girl stopped crying Mommy started walking, so I followed her...then all of a sudden when Mommy stepped to the side, I looked up and saw this big guy in a red suit looking at me. I wasn't too sure about him so I nonchalantly veered off toward Mommy again. Mommy told me it's okay and that I was going to sit on Santas lap for a picture, then she picked me up and handed me over to Santa. Guess what! I didn't scream! I didn't cry! I didn't even pay attention to Santa. I guess I figured if I didn't see him, he really wasn't there. Daddy snapped a few pictures, then we were off to get pizza. After all, it is called pizza with Santa.
December 6th: Mommy and I made my cakes for my birthday party tomorrow. It was a lot of fun. I got to use my pink rolling pin. I love it!
December 7th: It's not my real birthday until tomorrow, but today is my party! Oh so much fun. A bunch of my friends came over to play. Let's see...there was Katelyn, Kassidy, Peyton, Brock, Leta, Grace, Grant, Olivia, Reid, Jack, Natalie, Erica, Cameron & Rylie. I think that's it, but I really hope I didn't forget anyone. If I did, I'm so sorry. We had so much fun though. We colored our own bags, made play dough (actually colored play dough, Mommy already made it) and my friends got to pick out which cookie cutters they wanted to take home for their play dough. We also had cake and ice cream. Mommy and I made a cake that looked like a Playdoh container. It was pretty neat. We also made a chocolate cake. That was fun too. It was easier than the Playdoh cake because all we had to do was pour the icing on. They were both pretty yummy. That was especially nice because we made the from scratch. I got so many nice things for my birthday and am very greatful. Thank you all so much.
December 8th: This is my real birthday. Mine and my Grandma Nancy's! Happy Birthday Grandma! I got to see her on my television. That was pretty fun. I held up a sign that said Happy Birthday. I hope she liked it.
December 9th: This was my 2 year checkup. It went very smoothly. Dr. Killian is so nice. He says everything is looking just fine and I am developing just right. I said okie dokie, see you next year because I don't plan on getting sick or hurt over the next year so there is no reason to see him until then. Yay! Don't take that the wrong way I really like my doctor, but I just like to spend my time playing and exploring rather than sitting in a doctor's office.
December 12th: Grandma Rosemary & Grandma Georgia both got me and a few other people memberships to the Magic House so Mommy and I went on this day. Wow! I had so much fun! There is so much to do, but Mommy and I pretty much staying in the area for 6 year olds and younger. The only thing wrong with that is that some of the 6 and under crowds have older brothers and sisters that run around like crazy in that area because they have to go where their parents go. A couple of them got into trouble. Mommy and I learned that they open that area of the Magic House early on certain days of the week, so the only people in there are the 6 and under crowds. No brothers and sisters or anyone over 6 (except Mom or Dad). Anyway, it was a lot of fun and there is still so much more to explore.
December 18th: What a tramatic day. We took my big sister (Karana) to a doctor to look at some sort of growth in her mouth and check out her ear since it's been bothering her for a long time now and the medicines other doctors have given Mommy have not worked. Well, we arrive at the doctor and as we're walking in Mommy heard the vet yell SIT! Then she looked up and saw the vet hit a dog on his bottom because he didn't listen. Then the vet said sit again and hit the dog on the bottom again because he didn't listen. After the dog didn't sit that time the vet got up and got a fly swatter and started swatting him on the bottom until he sat. I didn't know what was going on because my Mommy and Daddy always teach me to love animals. We give hugs and kisses and never raise our hands to anyone or anything especially animals. It's a good thing Mommy stepped in front of me so I couldn't see what was going on because that is just not right and I'm still learning. That vet wanted to do surgery on my big sister, but my Mommy said we'd get back to them and just left. As soon as we left Mommy called Grandma Terri's vet and made an appointment for tomorrow.
December 19th: We saw Dr. Smith for Karana. Boy is he a really nice guy. Wow! He really loves his job, I could even tell that. He looked my big sister over from the tip of her nose to the tip of her tail. There were a few things wrong, like the thing growing in her mouth, she needs her teeth cleaned and her ear. Well, he's so nice he didn't even want to bother her ear too much because it was swollen so bad and he didn't want to hurt her. He asked if Mommy was going to have him do surgery to remove the thing in her mouth. Mommy said yes, he said then while she's under anesthesia he would suggest cleaning her teeth and he would then explore her ear to see what was causing the ear to swell, but he didn't want to do it now because it would hurt her. Isn't that nice. He's so thoughtful. The guy yesterday just gave Mommy more medicine and didn't even bother to try to figure out was the cause was. Oh and the teeth cleaning and exploring the ear would be no additional cost since she's going to already have surgery! Can you believe that? He said the only way it would cost more is if there is a growth in her ear that needs to be removed. He said it would only cost $40 to remove and then more if we decided to send it to the lab. Anyway, that's not much. Not nearly as much as the mean guy. And Dr. Smith is tons nicer too. And we trust my big sister with him too. So we scheduled her surgery for January 8th.
December 24th: Christmas Eve Party at Grandma Terri and Grandpa Vince's house. It was so much fun. There was lots of food everywhere and lots of kids to play with, but for some reason I was more interested in the cheeseball sitting on the table than playing with the kids. Daddy say I ate a lot of it. My Aunt Bobbie and Uncle Jim came in from Kansas to visit. They surprised my Grandma Terri and she cried. She was so happy. I'm starting to figure out that we're a sneaking family that likes to surprise people. Well, Aunt Bobbie and Uncle Jim stay with us when they're in town and it's a lot of fun. This is so exciting.
December 25th: Oh...my belly. I got sick sometime in the middle of the night. When Daddy got me this morning I had thrown up. Poor Daddy, he had to clean up my mess while Mommy gave me a shower. I was full of smiles though. So...MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Oh my goodness! I think I am the luckiest girl ever! I got so many fun things! I got a paint set to go with my easle from my birthday, a huge play tent and ball pit and a baby doll! She's so big and fun! I put her on my horse, I put her on my potty, I have her do everything I do. She my baby and I treat her as such! Thank you so much! We had a fun day playing with all of my new stuff...but after dinner...Poor Mommy!...I was sitting on her lap when all of a sudden I threw up all over her and me. It's a good thing there was a blanket under me, so most of it was caught on me and in the blanket. Mommy had to give me another shower. Hopefully I'll be better tomorrow.
December 26th: Grandpa Vince came over and made us all breakfast! He made us fried potatoes, bacon, eggs (actually Aunt Bobbie made the eggs) biscuits and gravy! Oh my goodness! It was so good. Well, that's what Mommy and Daddy says because I didn't really eat it since my belly wasn't feeling right. While Grandpa was making dinner Mommy was making a cake for Grandma Terri since her birthday is coming up. Breakfast (actually lunch) was finally finished at 11:50 something. Is that what they call Brunch? Grandma Terri finally got here at 11:45. She had to give a doggie a haircut, so she didn't come over with Grandpa. After breakfast we all hung out and had cake then Grandma, Aunt Bobbie, Mommy and I made cookies! Oh and Grandma's bestest friend ever came over. Her name is Jan. She's so nice! She helped us too. After a few hours I finally went to bed, but not before I got sick once again. Eww! This time Mommy cleaned up my mess and Daddy gave me a bath. It was yucky! I really hope I feel better tomorrow.
December 27th: Today is the Sullentrop (Grandma Terri's side) Christmas Party. Mommy is in charge of the kid activities. That's what the cookies we made yesterday are for. I got to see a bunch of people I haven't seen in a while. It's always fun to catch up. We also got to decorate the cookies, we made Santa's out of baby food jars, cotton balls and some other stuff. We also got to decorate ornaments. We used paint! It was so much fun! Then we all packed up and went home. Hey I didn't throw up today!
December 28th: Today is a sad day because Aunt Bobbie and Uncle Jim have to go home. Mommy and Daddy keep trying to talk them into moving here, but they won't listen. Maybe one day. But hey, we did get to hang out one last time before they left. I gave them both big hugs and kisses before they left. Oh and guess what...Mommy is sick now! Oh my goodness!
December 29th: Happy Birthday Grandma Terri!
I think that's all for now. If I forgot something I'll let you know. Have a wonderful New Year!!
